The Triple-Changer Decepticon reviewed here is obviously modeled after the G1 character known as Octane, but Hasbro has been forced to use the designation "Tankor" for him. Use whichever name you prefer.

As I already stated, Octane is (and always has been) a Triple-Changer. His Primary Vehicle mode is a carrier plane. Its not bad, but hardly perfect. Its very rare that you see a transforming plane with propellers nowadays.

Mode Two is a tanker-truck. Again, a good design but not without its flaws. Mostly I just think it doesn't look different enough to act as a secondary vehicle form. Its basically just the plane with wheels out and a different front.

Robot Mode is Octane's best form. The Decepticons from the Classics franchise need a little extra manpower.
Articulation is great but he's not quite up to the same level as the Autobot members from the same wave.
Octane uses a somewhat unorthodox weapon- a gigantic claw. This piece is actually necessary for both Vehicle Modes but can only be used as a weapon in Robot Mode (where it barely fits in with the overall design).

Octane's a pretty decent Triple Changer; he just doesn't manage to integrate both forms quite as good as his predecessor (Astrotrain). Recommended.
