Actually until the bugs are all worked out, I think the 'slow' pace is a good thing. Gives admins and mods a chance to test and rearrange things that need rearranging before boatloads of people are involved.

Oh that would be AWESOME to do on Youtube Astro, I would truly appreciate that. Ive been trying to get Simon (Silverbolt/Dyansis) do promote us for a while now too, but so far...no avail.

How old is this forum? Educated guess from me would be something like ten-fourteen days. If it is such, I'd say that it's looking pretty good. A forum moving a little slow towards its conception is no anomaly. I mean, it doesn't even show up in google. Give it a little time, and it should do okay. Also, watch other transformers boards for various things like forum riots (see: Gleemax) or general unhappiness of population (see: gleemax) and hit at that kind of place with advertisement. I think this place will be great.
